I love dance photography but due to privacy reasons cant really put them on my site without getting permission which is quite complicated and I cant be bothered. Here is one thats ok because faces are largely hidden. With no house Renovating this week I took the opportunity to make some modifications to my ute for camping and also carrying a bike inside. I had an idea to build a false floor to store things under and make a bed on top of the false floor. Previously I had to stack things outside on the ground to make the bed. First I made the frame and screwed some ply on to it. After bolting my new construction in the back of my ute so it can easily be removed. I have a place for my bike, the fridge in the rear corner and plenty of room underneath my false floor for storage. I soon realise it is going to be difficult to get onto the bed with the bike and the fridge in place so I decide to build a ladder on the drivers side of the tray which will also be useful when putting things on the roof rack as well. And I have even painted it white since this photo was taken.Pretty groovy welding helmet! I do have a shot with the ladder painted white. I will give it a run this weekend to see how it all works. I love tinkering with my bikes. Here I am making some adjustments to my mountain bike.
I've just added a second drink bottle cage behind the seat post for the warmer weather. I saw this sign on a colourful shop wall inthis morning and it made me think about the message.
I'm sure this is true but I think you must really be prepared to change in the first place. In my kitchen I have a Rayburn 510 wood stove. I use when the weather is cold and it also heats the hot water when it's going. I have just made pizzas in it and the temperature of the main oven is around 250 degrees celsius.
The weather has turned cold and I am glad I cut some wood for the stove yesterday as I had let it run out. It has turned bloody cold in just a few hours and we have had so much rain there is water over my road. Here is my mother on her 88th birthday a few months ago with her 3 daughters, my sisters.
What a wonderful group of women they are. Yesterday morning when I got out of bed I was greeted by this beautiful early morning sky. Photo taken with my little Olympus waterproof point and shoot camera.
In Albury on the corner of Smollett and David Street there is a wonderful Thai Noodles and Rice Trolley. It's called "Baan Sabai Jai" and the food is cheap, beautiful and quick and they cook it all on this trolley on the footpath. I get Pad Thai Chicken and its $9 and you get as much Jasmine tea as you can drink. You can see Fox in the back ground but he is not as excited as me and would sooner be at Hungry Jack's but it burnt down last year
