On Saturday I took some photos of a live Dance performance. I will see if I can post a few shots on my site ( better ask permission as they are kids) but in the interim here is a photo of that ever talented Fox at the light and sound mixing desk.
This year I have decided to join in the Movember theme. Check out my friend who has a much better mo than me
and doesn't mind showing it off either. Today we started back at work on the house after a few weeks break from it for various reasons. In the 2 photos you can see all this debris on the ground. This was all stuffed under the eaves and when we removed the cover board it was jam packed full of grass and feathers and bird shit from many years of birds finding their way in there somehow and building nests. The wind seemed to swirl around so wherever I positioned myself I ended up covered in dust and bits of dry grass and after cleaning it all out had to head straight for the shower. A pretty unpleasant job and there is still another 3 sides of the house to go.
I found out last weekend whilst looking over my beautiful Cannondale Supersix that it has 2 cracks in the rear seat
stays. I t has made the bike unsafe to ride and I am now waiting to hear about a replacement under warranty. It's pretty frustrating as I ride the bike 4-5 times a week and was really enjoying it. Now I have dusted off my mountain bike which is fun as well but for me I cant wait to get back on the road. My nephew and his girlfriend having some fun on the back of my ute with a beautiful sunset in the background.
After years of below average rainfall I finally managed to bog the ute yesterday. We have had lots of rain in the late winter spring period. Luckily we only had to walk about 700 metres to get the tractor. My nephew's girlfriend Sarah to the photograph using my iphone.
My 2011 Cycling Calendar has gone to print and I'm very excited to have an idea that started probably a couple of years ago become a reality. There is a preview with some months now on my site for viewing. Click on the link to the "Cycling Calendar" in the menu at the top of this page. Below is a sneak peak of the month of February.
I got an iphone on Monday and the camera seems quite reasonable.
This is my nephew Angelo enjoying a Red at Sunset. This giant mechanical monster lays at rest in a lake it actually made when mining for gold.
I will include this link for some information on it. http://www.parkweb.vic.gov.au/resources05/05_1355.pdf |
