Jungle Ride

I'm up in Port Douglas at the moment lolling around in the heat and humidity and loving it. Luckily or unluckily whichever way you look at it I flew with Virgin whilst my riding buddies from Melbourne all came on Quantas. Looks like they might be staying for a while. We came up to participate in a recreational event which raises money for a charity called White Lion with the event being run by an amazing woman called Lesley Stephens who survived a horrific sky diving accident and is an inspiration to all.
I'll put up a few photos of the ride as my internet keeps dropping out and I've already lost the first draft of the story I wrote.

Tony thank you so much for your lovely comments. It was wonderful to meet you and have you participate in the ride. You cetainly are a great bunch of guys. I'm looking forward to making the bigger and better next year and have a couple of chats with your Commander In Chief Grant.

What Tony didn't mention was that he looked after the rest of The Crew on the ride and powered home in great nick. Then followed up the next day with 90km up Mt Molloy!

Great riding Tony and the Bright boys need to be worried. Loved your photos of the time trial bike assembly.

Ahoy there Captain.

I've pulled up with a sore knee from our Port Douglas expedition. I think I strained something slipping on the stairs carrying my bike down.

I'm not sure if I mentioned that one evening whilst looking for you at the Tin Shed a staff member asked me was I Ok.To which I replied "I'm looking for the Captain,have you seen him"? The reply was gold,Mate we've got Captains,admirals you name it, he's probably in there somewhere.
